Yes. When you enter your registration number, Vadi checks the VID VAT-payer registry and fills in your VAT number automatically. If you're not VAT-registered, the VAT sections stay out of your way.
The quarterly micro-enterprise tax declaration from your income (on a cash basis — when the money is actually received) in EDS XML format, plus reminders in the tax calendar. Note: a MUN taxpayer cannot be VAT-registered at the same time.
The system records income and expenses on a cash basis (when money is actually received or paid), reminds you about the self-employed VSAOI report each quarter and the annual income declaration, and prepares reports in PDF and CSV formats.
When the value of your VAT-taxable transactions in a calendar year exceeds €50,000. Vadi tracks your turnover and warns you already at €40,000 so you don't miss the registration. After registering, turn on VAT status in settings — invoices will show VAT and the calendar will show declaration deadlines.
Pamats (€9) — do it yourself: enter data, we calculate the taxes and prepare the declarations. Pro (€17) — Vadi does more for you: receipt scanning, bank-statement import, your own logo on invoices and payroll for 1 employee. Premium (€35) — a business with a team: payroll for unlimited employees and SEPA payout. You can change plan anytime; prices include VAT.
You can start at any time, not only at the start of the year: enter your opening balances — unpaid invoices, fixed assets and cash balances — the system has a dedicated opening-balance entry, and the dashboard “First steps” list leads you there. From then on Vadi keeps all the accounting. If you also want to bring over history from an earlier period, write to info@vadi.lv — we'll talk through what can be transferred and for which period.
If the system is useful, pick a plan: Pamats €9, Pro €17 per month (incl. VAT; billed yearly, 2 months free). If not, you can export your data and leave anytime — no commitment and no card details.
Of course. Write through the contact form or to info@vadi.lv — we reply during the free trial too, not only to paying customers.

Full double-entry accounting is available too: journal, manual postings, year-end close, credit notes and fixed assets.

Data is stored in a European data centre with automatic daily backups. Each company sees only its own data, an audit log shows who changed what, and you can export your data anytime in PDF and CSV formats.
Enter opening balances from your old program's balance sheet — the system has a dedicated opening-balance entry, including for the fixed-asset register; in a new company the dashboard “First steps” list leads you there. If the system is useful, pick a plan: Pamats €9, Pro €17, Premium €35 per month (incl. VAT; billed yearly, 2 months free). A company with payroll usually needs Pro or Premium. If not, export your data and leave anytime.
Your data doesn't go anywhere — it stays safely stored, and data export (CSV) is available even without an active subscription. When you renew, you continue right where you left off.
Vadi prepares invoices in PDF format with all the VAT-law details. Sending structured e-invoices (XML) is in preparation — we're following VID requirements and will add it in time. If e-invoices matter to you already now, write to info@vadi.lv.
